Mastering Cross Functional Communication

Session Summary: In a dynamic industry like chemicals, effective communication extends beyond technical know-how. Join us for an insightful session that transcends stereotypes and focuses on empowering you to navigate various communication challenges successfully. While formal education emphasizes problem-solving and efficiency, this session recognizes the importance of communicating with diverse stakeholders. Whether engaging with male stakeholders, technical experts, non-technical counterparts, or global partners, attendees will gain valuable insights into tailoring messages for optimal understanding and buy-in.

Focus on the “Why”, Not the “How”: Instead of delving into details, learn to communicate the broader impact and significance. Stakeholders are more likely to engage when they understand the "why" behind your proposals.

Highlight the Value: Paint a vivid picture of the desired outcomes to excite and engage your audience. By showcasing the benefits, you can instill enthusiasm for your ideas.

Be Selective: Challenge yourself with the questions "So what?" and "Who cares?" to filter out less compelling topics. Quality over quantity ensures that your message resonates with the audience.

Prepare!: Avoid the pitfalls of "winging it." Preparation is key to steering clear of diving into technical details and losing your audience. Learn effective strategies for maintaining focus and clarity.

Closing the Deal: Master the art of ensuring your message lands effectively, securing buy-in from your audience across various backgrounds and roles.
