Christine Grybos

Moderator

Christine Grybos is Director of Product Management for General Chemicals at Brenntag responsible for North American product strategy and supplier partnerships.  She has 30 years’ experience in the chemical industry, having held various roles including sales, sales management, key accounts, commercial leadership, and product management.  

Christine joined the Women in Chemicals leadership team as Mentorship Program Chair in December 2022 and became Programs Director in July of 2024. 

Christine lives near Cleveland, Ohio with her husband Rick and has a BS in Psychology and Spanish.


Tammy Benson

With a dynamic blend of passion and expertise in the service and real estate industries, Tammy Benson has transitioned over the last 13 years from a distinguished career in real estate to find herself at the helm of the family business, Advanced Marketing International, INC.  Raised amidst the chemical industry’s vibrant discussions due to her parents’ careers spanning domestic and international roles, including an overseas assignment, Tammy’s upbringing has profoundly influenced her professional ethos. Her tenure as a professional client executive in the real estate industry honed her keen eye for detail and negotiation skills, which she now applies to foster strategic partnerships in the chemical sector.

As President and CEO, Tammy’s vision extends beyond business success; she is dedicated to cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, team member empowerment, service second to none, and a culture worthy of the team.   Her commitment to excellence transcends to the company’s growth and the trust placed in the brand by suppliers and customers alike.

Kathy Green

Kathy Green, Founder & CEO of CargoCheck, began her career at Solvay, spanning seventeen years in roles as chemist, international logistics, product management, and key account sales.

Her husband’s role in the chemical industry took their family to Shanghai. There, she fostered partnerships for a pediatric therapy clinic that pioneered services previously unavailable in China. Upon returning to the US, she rejoined full-time work with Olin in 2017. In 2020, she launched CargoCheck to address human errors that lead to potentially dangerous chemical transportation accidents.

Kathy's journey has been significantly shaped by the guidance of mentors, both professionally and personally – which is why she is excited to be an early supporter of the Women in Chemicals Mentorship Program.

Towner Magill

Towner is a second-generation chemical distribution leader and began working at Brenntag in 2012 after spending several years in the asphalt industry. In his role as Commercial Director, Towner leads a team of Key Account Executives handling Brenntag’s largest, strategic customers in North America. He is a member of the Women in Chemicals Ally Advisory Board, and actively participating in their first mentorship cohort. Outside of work he has volunteered the past eight years with Be A Mentor, a small non-profit based in Charleston, South Carolina, having also been a member of their Board of Directors for the past six years. Towner lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, just outside Charleston, with his wife, Lucye, and his daughters, Weller and Sally.

Erin Tesch

Erin Tesch is Global Director of the Health Sciences division at Ramboll.  She has over 25 years supporting the chemical industry and leads a global team that assists companies deliver sustainable solutions to protect human health and the environment.  Her expertise focuses on antimicrobial products including disinfectants/sanitizers, materials preservatives, air and water treatment products, treated articles, nanoscale materials, devices as well as novel products making public health pathogen claims. Erin has built and managed chemical consortiums to advocate positions and defend classes of chemicals/products. She has recruited, built, motivated and coached high performing teams and is passionate about mentoring the next generation and allyship in the chemical industry.  

Erin is based in Washington, DC and has an extensive network and history of working and negotiating with regulators across multiple federal agencies. Prior to joining Ramboll, Erin was with TSG Consulting where she served as Managing Director.

Erin has a BA in political science from George Washington University and an MA in environmental public policy from Norwich University.
