Fall 2022 Women in Chemicals book club book will be New York Times bestseller, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. The plot is around a woman working as a chemist at research center who is discriminated against for her gender. It also explores themes of grief, motherhood, grit, and resilience in the face of adversity.
We plan to spend the next 12 weeks diving into this book together. This will be the first of three one-hour virtual gatherings planned.
This will be accompanied along with a question of the week posted for discussion on the WIC Forum Board AND to wrap up our Fall reading, the author, Bonnie Garmus, will join us for a fireside chat with our community!
