Women in Chemicals’ First European Event at EPCA 2024 Sparks Community and Change

On Monday, October 7th, over 150 women and allies gathered at the iconic Berlin Zoo to kick off EPCA 2024 in style for Women in Chemicals first official in person European event. Co-hosted by Women in Chemicals and Brenntag, we enjoyed champagne, Aperol spritz, light bites, and most importantly, inspiring conversations that showcased the power of community in the chemical industry.

The event featured comments from Women in Chemicals Executive Director Amelia Greene and Brenntag Essentials CEO Ewout van Jarwaarde highlighting both organizations mutual commitment to empower and uplift women across our industry. Together, we’re fostering a global movement for parity and opportunity, supporting women as they lead and innovate.
