WIC sponsors the Industry Happy Hour at the Chemical Educational Foundation’s (CEF) National Challenge

Women in Chemicals was thrilled to sponsor the Industry Happy Hour at the Chemical Educational Foundation’s (CEF ) National Challenge Awards Dinner in Houston, TX, on June 11th. We are proud to partner with CEF, an organization dedicated to engaging students early in their academic journey and igniting a passion for STEM to build the future workforce.

This year's event marked CEF's 20th anniversary, featuring the "You Be the Chemist Challenge®," where the top five teams from over 17,000 students competed for nearly $50,000 in scholarships! Women in Chemicals has representation at the awards ceremony from our Leadership Team members including WIC Co-Founders Kylie Wittl and Amelia Greene, Leadership Team Members Caroline Thomas and Stefanie Jolliff and our Advisors Stephanie Hajducek Marcie Johnson (Meador) Jared Reigle. It was our honor to join in celebrating the achievements of these bright young minds who are set to make a significant impact in the STEM world.
