Mind Full or Mindful? Decluttering the Busy Leader’s mind
Thank you to all who joined us in our Generation Female Webinar: Mind Full or Mindful? Decluttering the Busy Leader's Mind, hosted by our speaker, Harriet Stein. Harriet is currently President of Big Toe In the Water, LLC. and is a Mindfulness Teacher, Coach & Consultant. We spent our session learning from Harriet's life experiences and how she responded mindfully to certain situations. We were introduced to common signs of burnout, and that Mindfulness isn't always about being happy; it is about feeling in the moment and being authentic. We spent a bulk of our session engaging in a breathing exercise. This exercise encouraged us to slow down and focus on the moment. Many stated they left the session feeling calm, relaxed, rested, and peaceful. We learned that the practice of being mindful allows us to create space to take a pause. Interested in learning more? Harriet's Big Toe In the Water, LLC. website contains many resources to enable us all to dig deeper. Thank you Harriet, for reminding us the importance of making time to breath, focus on ourselves, and so much more.
