Women in Chemicals extends a special thank you to Arthur Kroeber - founder of China focused Gavenkal Dragonomics research service -  for his insights and expertise on short and longer term challenges of China's economy given both domestic structural change and big geopolitical shifts. On May 5th, in front of 100+ community members, Arthur covered discussion surrounding the impact of the Russia-Ukraine conflict on China, the short and long term Macroeconomic hurdles they currently face, and the resulting implications for multinationals. Arthur concluded by providing adaptation strategies to think about in order to maintain business continuity and in-tact supply chains. We closed out this event with a Q&A session discussing particular implications that initiatives in China have on the chemicals industry.
