It is a pleasure to introduce to each of you Christi Farr as this week's WOTW. Christi currently works as Jungbunzlauer (JBL) Regional Sales Manager. We are also eager to congratulate Christi in her latest promotion to include North America Pharma Sales Management in her Portfolio! Christi shared with us how she "stumbled into the industry", like many of our WIC members. She comes from a unique background of experiences, including advertising sales for a radio station! It was at this radio station in which Christi met a woman of inspiration to her today, her old manager.

We talked a lot about creating engagement, awareness, and visibility for women to enter the industry with Christi, and how it "needs to start from the ground up" at colleges and universities. When asked about advice she would give to our community, she shared with us the importance of exuding confidence and highlighted that what we have to say does matter. She also recognized though that there are essential times in which it's most important to sit back and listen.

Christi talked to us about the role creation and opportunities that have organically grown for her and other women within JBL. When asked about how to navigate some of these difficult supply situations we are all facing today, Christi said the best thing we can do is be honest, and set realistic expectations with integrity. Christi closed with a recommendation to us all; "gravitate to the things that are more challenging, the most challenging path is always the most rewarding."
